14th Anniversary Celebration of ‘Dainik Desherpotro’: Upholding Truth and Commitment to Humanity

The 14th anniversary celebration of ‘Dainik Desherpotro’ resonated with vibrancy and enthusiasm. Widely recognized as a leading publication, ‘Dainik Desherpotro’ commenced its 15th year with the resolute slogan of ‘The revelation of truth for the welfare of humanity.’

Marking this significant milestone, a thought-provoking discussion and cultural program themed ‘Journalism for Human Welfare’ convened at 10 am on Tuesday (February 13) at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Esteemed guests engaged in illuminating deliberations on the designated topic.

The event was presided over by Dainik Desherpotro’s esteemed editor, Rufaydah Panni and directed by Dainik Bajrashakti’s Editor, SM Samsul Huda. Among the distinguished panel of guests, President of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal and former Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu and BFUJ President Omar Farooq graced the occasion as chief guests. The program was inaugurated by Alhaj Haroon-ur-Rashid CIP, Chairman of Asian TV.

As Desherpotro, an affiliate of Pinnace Media Limited, noteworthy addresses were delivered by the Chairman of Pinnacle Media Limited and Hezbut Tawheed Imam Mr. Hossain Mohammad Salim. During his address, he emphasized the invaluable role of Dainik Desherpotro in upholding the true teachings of religion amidst prevailing moral dilapidation under the guise of faith. He highlighted the newspaper’s pivotal role as a beacon of truth against religious extremism, sectarianism, Islamophobia, religious business, rumors, and religious fanaticism. Despite numerous hurdles, Dainik Desherpotro remains steadfast in its commitment to its mission.

Echoing these sentiments, Rufaydah Panni, the editor of Dainik Desherpotro, emphasized the newspaper’s unwavering dedication to justice. She underscored that Dainik Desherpotro is not merely a conduit for news and information but an ideological bastion standing firm against injustice. Her resolve to uphold principles without compromise resonated throughout her address.

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of special guests including President of Maati Cultural Group, legendary guitarist Enamul Kabir, multiple national film award-winning director Masih Uddin Shaker, former president of Bangladesh Chhatra Maitri and head of news of Yugbarta Rafiqul Islam Sujan, and president of Kaliakair Press Club Ayuub Rana, among others.
