HM Salim Run 10K 2024 Marathon Organizes in Dhaka

Pinnacle Sports Association organised marathon races for both men and women titled ‘HM Salim Run 10K 2024’ at Diabari in Uttara of the capital on Friday morning.

Former general secretary of the association SM Samsul Huda started the programme with the inaugural speech at 6:30am. Chairman of Pinnacle Sports Association and Hezbut Tawheed member Emam Hossain Mohammad Salim was present as the chief guest while general secretary of Pinnacle Sports Association Rial Talukder presided over the event.

Hossain Mohammad Salim said, “To wake up the youth, we have to wake up their indomitable vitality. We are working to awaken that force in the youth. We have been organising healthy cultural events and sports in every department, district, and police station in Bangladesh.”

There were 572 men and 443 women participants in the marathon competition. All but three of them managed to cross the ending point.

Among others, Khadija Khatun, adviser of Pinnacle Sports Association, Rufaidah Panni, editor of Dainik Deshpatra, Dhaka divisional president of Hezbut Tawheed, Dr Mahbub Alam Mahfuz, Barisal Divisional President Al Amin Sabuj, Sylhet Divisional President Ali Hossain, Youth Assembly Chairman Ayesha Siddika graced the event as special guests.

With the theme ‘No alternative to sports for building a healthy society’, the program was jointly conducted by sportsman Taher Hossain Maruf, Dr Tuhin Mahmud, Shah Nawaz Khan Ripon and Farid Uddin Rabbani.
